Dear Ladies,
I’d like to remind you that President’s Day is on the 3rd September and the list remains on the notice board this Saturday for anyone who wishes to add their name for the competition and dinner in the evening at the National Yacht Club. Two members of the committee have kindly volunteered to assist with seating arrangements for those attending the dinner. There will be a draw for tee-times and the details will be posted on the BRS by Wednesday of next week. Members will not be able to make any adjustments to the timesheet, so please contact me if you are unable to play.
In order to make the competition enjoyable for everyone please arrive 20 minutes before your tee-time to collect your cards and refreshments and be on the tee box 5 minutes before tee-off. Please remember to avoid delays and keep up with the group in front of you when playing. Please take only one practice swing before hitting the ball. Also please be advised , after you tee-off in the 18 hole competition you may not change to 9 hole competition and vice versa. I hope the sun shines and you all have a great day!
There have been queries in relation to a couple of rules recently. I have posted details of same under Local Rules on the website which I hope you will find beneficial.
Leopardstown golf is closed for racing on 10th September, so we have an away day to our old favourite, Glen Mill Golf Club in Wicklow. It is a very enjoyable and challenging par 3 course, and I hope to see many of you there. Details are on the notice board so please join us if you can! We will adjourn to the Mount Kennedy Inn for prize-giving and a chat following golf.
Best wishes
Dolores
