Dear Members,

We’ve had two lovely Saturdays back-to-back, allowing for a very pleasant outing to Glen Mill Golf course and a very successful President’s Day.    Glen Mill is a favourite of ours and a nice group of ladies travelled to Wicklow to enjoy some very pleasant sunshine and very good golf. Indeed, there were many excellent scores and after golf we adjourned to the local where we enjoyed a bite to eat and a nice get together.  A good day was had by all.

President’s Day was rescheduled  and it was another perfect day for golf.  President Maura’s lovely prizes were on display and the committee were hard at work preparing score cards and laying out a variety of refreshments for everyone.

After golf the majority of players gathered in the Green Room for prize-giving.  Light refreshments were served while our committee beavered away marking cards.  The scores were excellent and Mary McNulty took home the President’s Prize on 38 points. Well done and thank you to everyone who took part on the day.

Upcoming Events

39 ladies from our society are travelling for the biennial holiday abroad to Alvor (Portugal) on the 2nd October.  

The Turkey Competition is due to start on the 15th October.

Don’t miss the Spooky Special on the 22nd October – there are 3 prizes in each category.
