CAPTAIN’S NOTES

Dear Members,

Our biennial weekend away was to the charming Faithlegg House Hotel and Golf Resort. We had a great turnout and again the weather favoured us.

The golf course, which is set in a stunning location with fabulous views over the Suir estuary in County Waterford, presented us with plenty of challenges. However, some excellent scores were returned. We enjoyed delicious food, wine and good company in the comfortable dining room in Faithlegg.

I would like to thank Noirin Westman, Mary Jackson and all the ladies for their support and well wishes, all of which contributed to a very successful weekend.

A group of ladies travelled to Grange Castle to enjoy pleasant weather and very good golf. Indeed, there were many excellent scores and after golf we adjourned to Newlands Golf Club where we enjoyed a bite to eat and a nice get together.  A good day was had by all.
